~ Love n Compassion ~

Born in the natural garden of fragrant flowers, fortunately or unfortunately, we tend to drift to the garden of artificial flowers over a period. As a newborn, fresh as the beaming fullmoon to as a little kid like a sparkling star, we go through various stages. Neither the fullmoon nor the star are aware of the beauty and it for the rest to bask in their glory!

Along the way, the mind shifts the gears and predominantly likes to live in a fantasy of flowers of the senses alone, the fragrantless artificial ones. Have you observed the role of these lovely artificial ones(created by the human mind) that come handy, cost effective and supposedly to remain for a long period with less maintenance. One bouquet made from them can functionally occupy the space as a decorating corner of a banquet hall or just wield the colours of combination as a centre piece at a dining table. Functionally occupying the space yet not filling the space. The missing fragrance can never fill the space that is both within and outside simply because the very nature of a natural flower is missing. Probably, that's why no doubt we learn to utilise the human mind's creation but we also mostly prefer to go for the natural ones.

Expressions are the flowers from the garden within one's own self. As children, we lived forever in our natural garden and so our expressions always had the bouquets of them. But since we have lost our way in the so called search into this world, we automatically tend to create bouquets of flowers from outside the real self which has no fragrance. Turning within, we rediscover our natural garden and emanate the fragrance.

The real Self as the natural inner garden, the expressions are the bouquets of flowers with fragrance of love and compassion. With awareness, when we are graced to learn to be with our own self, what else can it emanate than the fragrance... We only need to learn to utilise the artificial one but just be the natural one...

Gratitude is the best of bouquets that can be offered silently to the one that bestowed the sight of awareness...

You know, the first two paras are more like verses, poems from the heart!
Gratitude is like a bouquet(loved this line)
We meet again of course:)
Sorry for not commenting all this time-I have my exams next month so will not be very frequent on the blogworld!

I love your analogy. Yes, the most perfect prayer is that of "Thank-you".
